·         Documents their educational journey, archives all their responses from year to year. Students can look back at their previous answers. Good reflection piece for transitional periods
·         If students change schools, the account follows them by using their OEN (Ontario Education Number, found on their report card)
·         Can use My Blueprint to research occupations, the educational background needed to reach that occupations, work conditions and earnings (always interests them the most)
·         Teachers can embed this within their curriculum where they see fit
·         Career education linked to presented curriculum.
·         Promotes 21st century skills: students can use the built in drawing tools and audio/video recordings to document journals, media and reflections
·         Teacher creates an account and links it to students in his/her class
·         Great way for a teacher to learn about their students. As a class, students can complete the “How I Learn” component and instantly a teacher can have access to a tailored understanding of his/her students.
·         Parents also have the option of creating an account and linking it to their child’s account
·         Best of all – easy to use for students of all types of learners and with diverse learning needs
