when I was young I got lice and it is some sort of southern remedy to put mayonnaise in your hair to drown the lice but a hurricane had just passed through so the power was out and it was like 110 degree texan weather with super high humidity so the mayo basically baked on my head and created the worst smell imaginable that persisted even after the mayo was washed out (like 8 hours later) and they had to shave my head but my hair is also the only thing that helps me fight off my dysphoria so I felt like shit without it and the whole thing was highly traumatic and so I can't see or smell mayo or miracle whip or even ranch to an extent because it triggers all sorts of shit within me
