She attended Industrial School for Girls in Montgomery, Alabama. Her parents separated when was was nearly 2 years old.And has one younger brother. Rosa herself never had children of her own but did marry Raymond Parks. Rosa, as well as her husband Raymond both were in the organization Montgomery National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Some examples of Rosa Park's acts of activism is when she refused to give up her bus seat to a white man.
