1) In A Raisin in the Sun and True West, family plays an essential role in contributing to the meaning of the work as a whole. The Younger family support each other throughout the whole play. Though there are many differences between them, they stick up for each other. This is how they end up strong. On the other hand, Lee’s life choices nearly break Austin’s career. Based on these examples, do you think one gives their loved ones the power to make or break their life or is it uncontrollable? </title>

3)In both plays True West and A Raisin in the Sun, the characters seek freedom from the social bindings, Walter tries to free himself and his family from the clutches of poverty and the discrimination of a racially intolerant white community, whereas Austin seeks freedom from the restrictions of an suburban existence by going to the desert. How are their quests for freedom similar or different? Which type of freedom is more important in your eyes?

         <title>Table 5 :
In Sam Shepard’s True West and Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin In The Sun , Walter and Austin have a lot of similarities, Although Austin is a foil to Walter, when it comes to status. Walter and Austin were characters who subjectively fell into the act of violence at a point and both had a sense of machismo but how does Walter’s masculinity consolidate his actions and stand out more than Austins and who do you think was more of a man?

1. In A Raisin in the Sun, the family fights with the white clybourne community to gain power in the segregated society. Similarly, there is a gain for power in True West, when each brother attempts to be superior to the other, why is it that even though the two plays take place in different environments and time periods, why is power so prevalent in life?
