My name is Mr. Okon. I'm your Child's Elementary Science teacher. I’m excited about exploring the world of science with your child and I look forward to creating a learning experience that propels them to success.

Course Description

This program focuses on introducing students to the language of science as we experience in our environment and lives. This year we will study the fundamental principles of physical, Earth and life science with emphasis on enquiry-based learning and project-based assessment. Students will have the opportunity to build skills in collaboration, research collection, writing and literacy.  

We will begin this year with our outdoor Mentos and soda experiment. The students are excited and looking forward to a fun experience.

Course Materials:

The following materials will be needed for this course to help maintain a clean and safe classroom environment:

1. Hand soap

2.All-purpose cleaner

3. Sanitizing wipes (for tables)

4. Paper towel

With 15 years of experience as a daycare provider, I have dedicated my career to fostering the growth and development of children. Now, as a Youth Engagement Specialist at 96, I continue my passion for working with kids, helping to guide and support them in a positive environment. My goal is to inspire and engage the youth, nurturing their potential every step of the way!

Fun fact I'm a BOY mom who  love going shopping, traveling spending time with my family . I also love working out.
