It helped me understand the topics learnt a lot better and decreases stress when we actually learn said topic in class. For math, don’t be afraid to use your own method to solve problems, even if it’s a little slower. Otherwise you might make a lot of careless mistakes.

  • Make sure to take part in CCAs. You must take part in at least one. Even if you are not very good at a CCA, it doesn’t hurt to try one and become better at it.


    1. During the year, different inter house activities will released. For example LNY dragon making or sports IH(inter house) like football or basketball. These are great ways to show that you have a good house spirit.


    1. Last but not least, Oldham charity events. Twice every year, Oldham organises trips to non-profitable organisations working to help struggling Singaporeans. For Example, last year Oldham went to Willing Hearts help cook and serve food to struggling Singaporeans. I find this as a very great opportunity to give back to the community. Who knows, maybe we could visit Willing Hearts again this year!
