The act illustrates Israel’s tyranny and their barbarism towards the third holiest place for Muslims. The incursion not only provoked an angry reaction of the Palestinian people, even Muslims around the world strongly condemned the actions carried out by the Israeli Zionist regime.

The attack launched by the Zionist regime on May 8 is nothing new. It is a string of Israeli Zionist demands and allegations that say that the Al-Aqsa Mosque area is Temple Mount which is a holy temple for Jews.

At the same time, there was an expulsion of Palestinians in the Sheikh Al-Jarrah area, where the original residents who had lived there for decades were evicted by an unjust court decision to allow Jewish residents to build illegal settlements in the area. 

On May 7 and 10, Israeli Forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem and unleashed tear gas, stun grenades, and rubber-tipped bullets on Palestinian Worshippers.
The violence took place during the final days of Ramadan, which is the holiest month for Muslims. Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest site for Muslims.
Palestinians remained at Al-Aqsa Mosque after evening prayers in order to protest Israel's plans to forcibly evict more than 200 Palestinians from their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem. The latest evictions come from a 73-years- old military occupation against Palestinians, which began in 1948.
More than 300 Palestinians were hospitalized this week, with at least 25 announced dead, including 10 children, after Israeli Air Strikes hit Gaza. Hamas later launched rockets into Israel in retaliation, reportedly killing 3 Israelis, and injuring over 100.
The violence that has erupted across Jerusalem is a culmination of rising tension and protest in the occupied Palestinian territories.
 

 

It was the night of April 13, the first day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. It was also Memorial Day in Israel, which honors those who died fighting for the country. The Israeli president was delivering a speech at the Western Wall, a sacred Jewish site that lies below the mosque, and Israeli officials were concerned that the prayers would drown it out.

The incident was confirmed by six mosque officials, three of whom witnessed it; the Israeli police declined to comment. In the outside world, it barely registered.

But in hindsight, the police raid on the mosque, one of the holiest sites in Islam, was one of several actions that led, less than a month later, to the sudden resumption of war between Israel and Hamas, the militant group that rules the Gaza Strip, and the outbreak of civil unrest between Arabs and Jews across Israel itself.

The 1948 Arab – Israeli War was the second and final stage of the 1947–1949 Palestine war. It formally began following the end of the British Mandate for Palestine at midnight on 14 May 1948; the Israeli Declaration of Independence had been issued earlier that day, and a military coalition of Arab states entered the territory of British Palestine in the morning of 15 May.

As a result of the war, the State of Israel controlled the area that UN General Assembly Resolution 181 had recommended for the proposed Jewish state, as well as almost 60% of the area of Arab state proposed by the 1947 Partition Plan, including the Jaffa, Lydda, and Ramle area, Galilee, some parts of the Negev, a wide strip along the Tel Aviv–Jerusalem road, West Jerusalem, and some territories in the West Bank. Transjordan took control of the remainder of the former British mandate, which it annexed, and the Egyptian military took control of the Gaza Strip. At the Jericho Conference on 1 December 1948, 2,000 Palestinian delegates called for unification of Palestine and Transjordan as a step toward full Arab unity. The conflict triggered significant demographic change throughout the Middle East. Around 700,000 Palestinian Arabs fled or were expelled from their homes in the area that became Israel, and they became Palestinian refugees in what they refer to as the Nakba ("the catastrophe"). In the three years following the war, about 700,000 Jews emigrated to Israel. Around 260,000 Jews moved to Israel from the Arab world during and immediately after the war.

But till now the Palestinian is still oppressed by the Israelis military force. 

This current situation began because Zionist army force out the residents of Sheikh Jarrah from their own house. They also use violence and make treats. Then, while Muslims praying in masjid Al Aqsa, Zionist army throw tear gas to make the Palestinians disperse. The same things goes on but Palestinians does not giving up, they started to collect stones from the crushed buildings to defend themselves. On May 10, 2021, Briged Al Qasam started to fire on certain places in Israel because Zionist army ignored a warning from Hamas to leave both Sheikh Jarrah and Al Aqsa. Then, they attacked each other. Israel always attacked civilians’ houses and made random attacks on Gaza. So far, there is no sign that either side will make a ceasefire.
