The outcome was very obvious since Winston and Julia were being so foolish careless with their love. The two of them were dumb to have faith in O'Brien, and putting their lives and happiness at steak. They truly believed O'Brien for hope to rebel.

Since Julia and Winston didn't care about hiding their love and were pretty freaking stupid and childish for having put their faith in someone they didn't really know ( O'Brien ). You could tell this would happen from the beginning since they were openly affectionate in public with them holding hands and all. Nasty. Also, when Winston bought the journal, he was kinda openly stating that he was going to rebel without even saying anything.

You could tell that this was coming because they were being careless about their relationship. Then they childishly put all their faith in O'Brien, somebody who they barely knew. They confessed everything to him just for a sliver of hope that maybe they could do something to revolt. Also a good cover for Mr Charrington was to run that gift shop to see people that were disobeying the party or thought differently. So he could've busted him if he wanted for buying the journal in the first place which probably put him on the watch list. Also the whole thing could've been a setup from the beginning. Also it was very likely that people had saw Julia and Winston had been seen together and made people aware of them revolting against the party. Oh heck they even held hands in public, gwossssss.... Freakin Pornos I tell YEA.

This was bound to happen. You could tell from the beginning that they weren't going to get far. They where stupid and weren't smart about there movements and motivations. They were too trustworthy with people and that is what got them. Buying books from people and talking to strangers. They had a lot of little movements and signs that gave them away. Like holding hands out in public. That was a dumb move. They think that there love can stop and be more powerful then the government. With them just being seen together is raising there chances for being caught.

They were very careless with how they showed their relationship. They trusted someone they hardly knew. They told O'Brien everything thinking that they could trust him not to tell anyone what was going on. They thought that he would keep their secret, and that he could trust what they were all saying. Julia and Winston should've keep what they had to themselves, and not told anyone about it. They should've also watched who they told, they trusted him so easily but they should've watched who they told. O'Brien was all for telling everyone and acting as if it doesn't matter to tell someone. Julia and Winston were going against the party and rebelling and they were trying to do it sneaky.

This outcome was foreseeable because they put a lot of trust into O'brien and the rebellion. They trusted him so very much and put a lot of faith into him. They weren't even sure if he was entirely trustworthy and could keep a secret. They should've kept being sneaky and kept their relationship secret. They knew everything that they were doing was going against the rebellion. Even if it's what they wanted to do they still should've been more secretive.

This outcome was foreseeable because of how careless they were about their love. They ended up telling O'Brien everything thinking they could trust him, even though they don't really know him. Instead of telling anyone about it, they should've just kept it to themselves. It would've been a much safer choice because even though you think you "know someone", you don't actually know them. It's exactly like O'Brien because they thought that they could trust him to keep it a secret, but he definitely didn't. Another thing they should've done, was keep their love a little more secret, because holding hands in public was probably the dumbest thing they could have done.

This was obviously going to happen because they didn't play the game very well. They would put to much trust into people that they hardly even knew. Their strategic abilities also led them to there failure. They would do little rebellious things like hold hands in front of everyone, and that was one of the reasons why they failed. They think that there love could overrule the government. But that didn't happen. They needed to be more sneaky if they didn't want to get caught. If they wouldn't have talked to strangers so much and trust them, or make stupid relationship decisions maybe the outcome could have been different, but they walked right into this one.
