Friendship is represented in our daily life, which represents our unity as one within our friendships. George and Lennie represented such a strong friendship bond with each other that it made them one together. E pluribus unum represents the family bond between the two that was difficult to break because they had been through practically everything together. The largest bond in the story was definitely between George and Lennie as they dreamed of owning and managing their image one day. Even though they were both lonely, they had each to go to always. George and Lennie always had each other's backs and did not give up on each other until their friendship had to end one day through the death of Lennie. Altogether, E Pluribus Unum represents unity out of many people or challenges grouped together create one nation or bond.

George and Lennie were so close of friends that the were together as a family. All they had was each other to lean on. They both were lonely in their farm life and would be in great times of depression. They did the same things together all the time. George and Lennie's number one thing was family and their American Dream. They would try their best to fulfill that dream and hope it is possible for the kind of situation they live under. Family was the greatest gift upheld in their life and was about the only positive thing in George and Lennie's lives.

These farm bunnies also represent the lifestyle George and Lennie live in being all out farmers. The bunnies lived similarly to George and Lennie as the farm life for people is similar to life of an animal; tranquil, hard working, and independent. The relationship these bunnies have seems to be unbreakable, just like George and Lennie's friendship. The bunnies treat each other as family and separating them would devastate them both. Only death could bring them apart. One day George and Lennie's bond was broken by a terrible tragedy, showing the readers that only death could make them due part.

The strong bond they upheld and the strong will they had to bring each other up was incredible. George and Lennie would have done anything for each other; not just because they had to. All the two had was each other and their farm life. Each other and their farm was their family. One could also say that their American Dream was part of the family. They fantasized of having a couple of acres to themselves one day. Even though their dream was stretched and that George and Lennie thought it was impossible, they still hoped of having that land one day. Tragedy was the only thing that prevented them of pursuing the family and better farm life. They had dragged each other down at times, but they always would pull each other back up the hill they had to climb. They were lonely, but they at least had each other to hold onto.

This is a picture of John Green and Hank Green. These two are known for their Crash Courses they do in either History and Psychology. They are family and represent brotherhood very well. They are part of the same family and basically have the same career, except that they study different topics. John and Hank have done everything together, just like George and Lennie did in Of Mice and Men. John and Hank were successful in their American Dream, however George and Lennie were not so lucky. They had the bond they needed to achieve their dream, they did not however have the brains and attitude to be successful in their American Dream. Overall John and Hank represent the bond of brotherhood it takes to achieve the American Dream together.
