They really liked that it looked retro yet modern, and liked the colours used on the animated banners. One member suggested that colours on the logo and animations could be changed for different celebrations too such as Pride, Black History Month, Diwali, Eid, etc. While the pitch itself had a lot going on and a lot of animation, this was the strongest concept and we collectively felt that this logo is the one we could work from. With this in mind I would like to see you enlarge some of the matchbox artwork so that we could have the actual objects (again nicely made), alongside an enlarged print/ poster. I think in a physical exhibition you need to draw your audience towards your stand/ show.

    I’m not sure about the music but there may be s significance to it?

    The only part typographic part that doesn’t sit right fit me is the wavy inclusivity type under your Cedia logotype at the beginning.
    It’s like a fat, Slab/ Egyptian form that doesn’t suit the motion.

Darcy's quick execution of ideas which was necessary to implement within the time limit. Typography has never been my strong suit and Darcy's skills played a major part in while designing the logo from the Roc Grotesk font she suggested. Our taste of visual language/colour palette was similar. Darcy was also involved in D&AD new blood awards which made us easy to judge if our iterations reflected the brief or not.
