Dramatic Irony is when the audience or another character knows something that a character doesn't. This is seen in Macbeth, act 1, scene 3. The three witches know that he is going to be Thane of Cawdor and King before he does.
"All hail Macbeth! Hail to thee Thane of Glamis! All hail Macbeth! Hail to thee, thane of Cawdor! All hail Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter."

A simile is a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind, used to make a description more emphatic. This is seen in Macbeth, act 1 scene 3. The witch is comparing a lady who would not share her chestnuts with her.
"But in a sieve I'll thither sail, And like a rat without a tail, I'll do, I'll do, and I'll do."
