Themes Growing up

Growing up one of the toys and themes i loved growing up with was dinosaurs. Which I believe is a heavily dominated theme by men/boys at least growing up as a kid. Growing up my chores around the household weren't actually in the house but rather maintaining yard work with my dad because we had a big backyard while the girls in my house tended to the inside. My older brother also had a heavy influence on me getting into video games which was a big part of my life for a while because I would want to play games with my older brother and cousins

Growing up I was heavily into themes of fantasy inspired by teen figures and characters that have the potential to be heroes when needed by not making their lives revolve around it aswell as having friends to be around like Percy Jackson and Ash Ketchum from pokemon

Growing up my fashion consisted of mostly jeans and graphic tees id imagine many others my age went through this as well I think its interesting that my style has changed a little but still consist of this theme I think its interesting that I did not like it at first came back to it and embraced as my fashion style now

Not speaking up..

Growing up my dad taught me to be reserved and not speak up against things as if I was supposed to be very obedient and not question anything I think growing up it affected me negatively because it fostered negative coping mechanisms on how to go about life but he was just teaching what his father had taught him which led them to have a very traditional thought process on things like speaking up.
