One way companies are doing this is by using old movies clips with their new modern products; the clips reach the nostalgia in this generation whilst cleverly promoting the new. Nostalgia is the one thing everyone can enjoy. <br><br>"These latchkey kids were left alone for vast amounts of time, with their parents busy working, or simply taking a backseat approach to parenting - which was the way to do things back then. This turned them into the generation of parents who liked to hand out participation trophies, and never say “no” to their toddlers. A total 180 from their own upbringings. But, this built in need to rebel and nurture all at once makes wooing this audience a bit tricky. <br><br></div><div>While many may forget or overlook Generation X, they aren’t going anywhere.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Some images of John Lewis current lingerie displays, this seems to one of the only department stores which have displays rather than just blocks of loads of different underwear and I can see the Lovel Intimates collection sitting in well in this store. The images also show some interesting new visual merchandising layouts such as a room divider used to hand the lingerie on and hanging mannequins. </div>]]></description>
