Description : Photo shot on Nov 10th 2020 12:12pm. I captured this precious moment when I happened to pass by the dining room. It seemed that one of our scientists was sitting at a table that was intentionally placed way to comply with social distance. He was sitting still, as he waited for his food to heat up in the microwave. He seemed to be in the middle of a deep thought,  and was so focused that did not even noticed I was there. Perhaps he was thinking about his family , or the next experimental design, or even the COVID pandemic and how it has affected this country and his life . His thoughts maybe complicated and uncertain, but the one thing I noticed is the presence of a mask on his desk. In the United States today, these masks are the barriers to keep the outbreak under control, they ensure our ability to continue to work,  and they lead us back to our homes safely every day.

Took this picture while camping last month (Jackson lake state park). I have always wanted to view milky way, but couldn't go at the appropriate season. I was finally able to go and camp under the stars, away from the light pollution. The best part was the moonless night, which made the night sky more vivid. No picture that I took comes close to the view I had that night.
