A student who is AI literate should know how to evaluate AI for bias. </p><p><br/></p><ul><li><p><strong>Biases and misinformation</strong></p><ul><li><p>AI can only learn from its source(s), so it takes on <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="https://kotaku.com/neuro-sama-twitch-vtuber-ban-holocaust-minecraft-ai-1849977269">the biases</a>, misinformation, and problematic content of the original material. And if the team of developers isn't representative, it's almost guaranteed that implicit bias will be woven into the framework of the tool, as <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="https://sitn.hms.harvard.edu/flash/2020/racial-discrimination-in-face-recognition-technology/">facial recognition has illustrated</a>.</p></li></ul></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>"Can leverage AI to achieve his/her/their goals."</p><p><br/></p><p>I think this needs to be adapted to present more domain-specific language. What AI use in English looks like is going to be very different than science (potentially). The word "leverage" makes it sound as if there's something to be gotten around whereas another word with a more neutral connotation might be more suitable here. </p>]]></description>
