One interesting insight from our group is that the women walk up making gestures such as bowing, and pointing there hands at the men as they were someone of importance as the men stood there making gestures that gave of intense emotions such as feirce, pride, and authority, especially from capulet; it was almost like the men were commanding the women to act as there presenter. We also noticed that when the women came on, intense trumpet music started playing as well; the background dancers' clothing was neutral, making the main characters stick out more so the audience could focus on them. 🙆😱💪🗣. It felt as if the men held power over the women especially at the end when the women bowed and the men put their hand over them.

The men were the ones who started the performance and lead it so they were the ones who held the most power in the performance. The men's movements were stiff while the women's movements were flowy and accompanying the men.

One thing that my group pointed out was the fact that the women were more elegant with their gestures. The women hands were pointing at the men like they were the dominate and more powerful one, the women were also orbiting the men like they were planets. The men stood asserting their dominance and having fierce looks on there face expecially Lord Capulet and Tybalt. The music got a lot more uptoon when the women came on stage, the background dancers clothing weren't as elaborate and flashy like the main characters, this is good because gives more light to the main charcters. It seems like the men held all the power over the women, not to mention at the end of the play the women bowed to the men and the men just placed their hands over them.

They really captured the audience attention

The 3 Men in the front looked the most powerful as their outfits were different and had different colors than the rest that were behind them. I think the ballet made the audience feel very curious to see what was going on because even though words weren't being used you can infer what's going on from the actors body language.🧐🧐
