My mother and my siblings live in Ohio, so the only person I see in my family is my dad. My step mom makes the basics: turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and mac and cheese. For dessert, she makes a homemade caramel cheesecake that is delicious, but I do wish she made some pumpkin pie. I enjoy seeing my dad, but it does make me sad that I don't see any of my other side of the family on Thanksgiving. This year will be the first year that I will join my boyfriend for Thanksgiving with his family. He says they play board games and have a lot of fun, so I'm really looking forward to that.
