Do we continue to have meetings every 4-6 weeks to meet with grade levels? Like we have in the past.

Based off Emergent tree and needing multiple data points, this means most teachers will not come with many kiddos to put in MTSS data gathering form, correct?

Sorry if these are silly questions. I want to make sure I relay the correct information to teachers.

Is there a parent notification letter for this school year for Tier 3 students that documents needs and communicates to parents?

Do we have a different process for speech referrals or are we using the MTSS Data Gathering Form?

If we are using the form and the same process, would that only be for language concerns or would that include articulation concerns?

If the referral is approved by MTSS and comes to us after the agree to test and we find say excessive absences or they failed vision even though the team said he passed. Can we do PWN at that time to wait on testing?

Can you give boundaries of acceptable “child find”. I’ve been told that’s a child find so we can skip straight to consent.

After the CFSC denies a parent request and provides PWN, does the LSSP/Diag email Veronica and Leticia to enter refusal date in Embrace SIP?

Can the PWN page be edited to allow attachments? It would be nice to attach the “CFS Data Gathering” page to the PWN so we can save and lock them together.

The MTSS committee can edit the data gathering page in eduphoria at any time. Data could be added to the data gathering form to make it no longer match the PWN.

RTI / MTSS Clarification

Our campus is still confused about this process. At what point do we open an MTSS data collection form? What tier is this form supporting and tracking? Are the RTI legally required components from previous still required? If we are tracking mutiple subject area concerns, but the MTSS form only has one start date, should we just pick one to mark as intervention start date and indicate the other subject intervention start date in the summary box?

We're struggling to see how RTI fits into the MTSS data gathering form. There are certain requirements for RTI and the sample given to us shows a summary that doesn't meet that requirement. How should we document?

Is the MTSS gathering form to be started with Tier 2 or Tier 3? Where do we track multiple skills within the same subject? It feels like this is solely for Tier 3 students, but it shows all tiers in the form.

If a teacher is only concerned with one content area, do they have to complete the entire form or just the section of concern? For example, if the area of concern is Math does the teacher need to fill out the speech or reading portion of the MTSS Data Gathering Form?
