Singapore's first industrial estate, was kick started with the laying of the foundation stone for the National Iron and Steel Mills (known today as NatSteel) on 1 september 1962. Based on the observation, we can tell that people wrote Jurong point because the place allow the people to buy their essential needs and there is a food court ,fast food restaurant for the people and there are also beauty products selling at the place.
