Being the founder of such a project with children gave me professional pleasure and I learned many new things in cooperation with my team. In this sense, learning new and current teaching methods in cooperation with the team felt productive and successful. I did not experience any inadequacy in the process. I displayed successful and guiding leadership.

“Hikayeler ve Ölçümlerle Büyüyorum” projesi, erken çocukluk eğitiminde ölçme ve zaman kavramlarını somutlaştırmak için büyük bir fırsat sundu. Hikayelerle desteklenen etkinlikler sayesinde çocuklar öğrenme sürecine aktif ve istekli bir şekilde katıldı.

Proje süresince çocukların gözlem yapma, sıralama, karşılaştırma ve zamanı fark etme gibi temel becerilerinde belirgin gelişmeler gözlemledim. Aynı zamanda sosyal etkileşimlerinin arttığını, öğrenmeyi daha çok sevdiklerini fark ettim.

Benim için ise bu proje, yaratıcı düşünmeye, disiplinler arası bağlantılar kurmaya ve mesleki gelişimime katkı sağlamaya olanak tanıdı. Proje süreci, hem çocuklar hem de öğretmen olarak benim için ilham verici ve geliştirici oldu.

Bu deneyim, gelecekte de benzer projelerde yer alma isteğimi pekiştirdi.

The “Growing with Stories and Measurements” project provided a valuable opportunity to make abstract concepts like measurement and time more concrete in early childhood education. Through story-based and interactive activities, children participated actively and willingly in the learning process.

During the project, I observed clear progress in children's ability to observe, sequence, compare, and understand the concept of time. Their social interactions improved, and they showed increased enjoyment in learning.

For me as a teacher, the project encouraged creative thinking, interdisciplinary connections, and contributed to my professional growth. The entire experience was both inspiring and enriching for the children and for myself.

This experience strengthened my motivation to take part in similar projects in the future.

Maceramız Aç Tırtıl hikayesi ile başladı. Bu macera heyecanlı bir o kadar da çocuklara ve bana yeni deneyimler kazandırdı. Proje ortaklarımızla bilgi alış verişi yaparak, eksikliklerimizi tamamladığımız, verimli vakit geçirerek projeyi tamamladığımızı düşünüyorum.

Our adventure started with the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This adventure was exciting and also provided new experiences for the children and me. I think we completed the project by sharing information with our project partners, completing our deficiencies, and spending productive time.

During the project, I effectively used contemporary teaching methods such as Web 2.0 tools, digital storytelling, and virtual classroom interactions. I contributed to my professional development by collaborating with teachers from different cities and countries. I provided my students with a versatile, effective learning environment to help them gain 21st century skills.
