I found it funny how he used the comparison of a "doorstop" to describe his boss, Mr. Kellerman. I think the author chose this phrase to show what kind of character Bobby is and what he thinks about his boss. It shows that Bobby thinks that Mr. Kellerman is boring, and that there isn't much to him.The comparison he made shows that Bobby can be funny and sarcastic.

Addie's tone is very firm, so she knows what she wants and what she feels.

I chose this quote because it helps me understand Abby's personality, and how strong it is. Abby is not afraid to stand up for herself, or any other person being treated unfairly. Despite other students making fun of her for because of her personality, and because she's tall, she will do her best so her voice can be heard. I think the author used the claim " I have a brilliant mind" in this quote to show that Abby is actually proud of herself for being who she is. Abby's tone is silly.

They've been called names since they were young, and been called so many to the point they've accepted it. But in reality, their spirit gets broken. This quote shows that what you call people isn't always a joke, it can stick to people, and they end up labeling themselves. This made a very strong point in the book, and Bobby couldn't have said it better.
