         <description><![CDATA[<p>To know when to choose left of right, you look at the inequality inside the probability. </p><p><br></p><p>P(X&lt;k) = 0.55 means that the area on the left of k is 0.55. Since the said area is on the left, we choose left tail. </p><p><br></p><p>P(X&gt;a)=0.55 means that the area on the right of a is 0.55. Since the said area is on the right, we choose right tail. </p>]]></description>
