2 geographic features that helped cities settle in Mesopotamia are the
Tigris and the Euphrates river this impacted them because it helps them settle and because the two rivers helped them get freshwater and help them live and survive and stay healthy because they had fishnet that catches the fish and so they cook it and eat and lots of trees for the houses. The Tigris and the Euphrates river helped them because when the Tigris and the Euphrates flooded it left them very good soil and it was easier from them to farm and get more crops to plant and get more food. The geography made Mesopotamia survive, thrive or fail because it helped survive and thrive because they had lots of land to plant crops and they had a desert for their temple and rivers for their water.

Organized Government

The government laws are important because it helped the people from doing whatever they want like stealing people's food and crops and other stuff. This tell me about Hammurabi’s Code of Laws that Mesopotamia? these laws tell me about Mesopotamia is that their laws were very cruel because if someone does something bad they want to kill that person because Mesopotamia does not give people second chances. Hammurabi’s Code of Laws was important to Mesopotamia and is important today because the laws helped us learn what they did and the stuff they can't do and this helped us learn about what they did in the past. The Code of law resolves the conflicts it makes more safe because say if someone robbed a bank they would go to jail for lots of years. It helped them survive because the laws of Mesopotamia is a law and which is what you cant do in the city and the laws help the people in Mesopotamia from doing whatever they want.

Class Divisions

The three class divisions were present in Mesopotamia and were craftsmen, merchants, and civil servants. A possible job might be the King and thats in the highest class which is the uppers but you need a good education for the upper class. Another possible job might be the merchants to be a merchant you will need to have a decent skill. The last possible job is the slaves and the slaves are in the lower class and to be a slave you dont have to have a skill really all you do is work for people and build. I think class divisions were created because they needed more jobs like the slaves which are in the lower class and they need more education in their jobs. The of benefits and drawbacks of living in each class are like an example is like in the classes as it goes up you get more benefits and as you go down in the class you get drawbacks. It made Mesopotamia thrive because all of the classes were not getting hate and really being treated horribly.

The type of religion Mesopotamia had is that
All civilizations have some kind of religious system. And religious system includes both a set of beliefs and which is usually in a god or gods, as well as various forms of worship. And Mesopotamians had polytheistic and they had worshipped with several major gods and thousands of minor gods. and each Mesopotamian city had its own patron god or goddess. The 3 important beliefs
Religion was that it was central to Mesopotamians as they believed the divine affected every aspect of human life. Also, Mesopotamians were polytheistic and they believed worshipped had several major gods and thousands of minor gods. and they believed each Mesopotamian city had its own patron god or goddess. The ziggurat was a huge temple in the middle of the city. I think it was in the middle of the city because so they can see their surroundings and to see if their getting attacked. The ziggurat is made of mud brick covered with baked bricks laid with bitumen and a naturally occurring tar. There are about 25 known ziggurats still as today.

some examples of art that was present in Mesopotamia were like weapons and cups and had lots of decorative items, such as mirrors and jewelry that the metalworkers made the weapons were used for fighting when they were getting attacked. The cups were used for drinking water on the river. And the mirrors were used for them to look and they/ each other. Last the jewelry was used for is when they were the jewelry is was basically decoration. The art forms. and what might their purpose have been being they used copper, bronze and gold, and they used iron to make the weapons. The cups were made out of clay. They use mirrors to make it out of class. Last they made the jewelry from digging gold and diamonds. it is important to study art from ancient civilizations because it is a cultural document and they work hard on their art pieces and their art helps us provide important insights into the past and which is helping us to understand how others have lived and what they valued.
