Hi! I’m Lucia Crespo González, I’m 22 years old and I was born in Leganés (Madrid). I don’t have any brothers or sisters but when I was little I never asked for one so my mother decided no to have any more children; now that I’m an adult, I would have liked to have one. I’m a little bit shy at first but then I’m very funny and loyal. I like to hang out with my family and friends, go to take a coffee, have dinner out, go to the beach and travel . I have a dog named Miller, he is a Pomeranian and he is my best friend. Because I don’t have blood sisters, my cousins act like them. I considered myself very lucky because my four grandparents are still alive at a very old age, and I know few people who are that lucky at my age.

This is my fifth year in university studying Food Engineering and I hope to finish it next year, although I love coming to the university because I gossip a lot and here I met my best friend. When I was a child, I use to play volleyball but I quit and now I go to the gym in the afternoons with my parents and a cousin. As I say before I love to go to the beach and my favorite destination in summer is Menorca, I went for my first time when I was 3 years old and since then I haven’t stopped going. I have been studying English since I was very youn, I took a break when I got the B2 in the first year of university and now I’m back to get the C1 certificate.

I have traveled to English speaking countries and that has helped me practice my English; I have been to London twice and New York twice, which is my favorite city after Madrid.

Hi, I’m Iria Pérez Jerez and I’m 22 years old, my birthday is July 4th. I live in Spain, specifically in Madrid with all my family. I have one sister who is 2 years older than me, her name is Rocio. She has blonde hair, she has studied psychology and teaching but she only works as a psychologist in a clinic. I would define her as a very smiling, sociable, patient and empathetic person, because she really likes to listen to people when they have problems. My father’s name is Diego, he was born in Galicia, concretely in Santiago de Compostela, as well as my grandmother, however, my grandfather is from Murcia. He works in an office as an economist and he loves playing the same way as watching football. He has brown hair and he is characterized by his strong character. My mum is called Rocio, like my sister, she and my grandparents from that side are from Madrid. She works in an airline, in the financial department. What stands out about her is her generosity with everybody, She’s always available to help others. Since my sister and I were born, we have a person working at home taking care of us, her name is Esther and we love her. We also used to have a pet, a turtle called Treasure but a few months ago we left it in an aquarium. I like playing tennis, I’ve been training for many years and when I was little I competed. In summer my family and I usually go to Galicia in August and to Cadiz in June, in July my sister and I are monitors in a camp. I’ve been practicing English since I was little at school and with private lessons at home.

Hi, my name is Amanda Torío. I’m 22 years old. I live in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid. I have a brother called Iván, he’s 15 years old, and a sister called Chloé, she’s 12. I love hanging out with my friends and my family. Also, I like spending time with my sister making crafts and watching football with my brother. As well I like cooking delicious dishes with my mom especially confectionery. My favourite dish is Lasagna. Apart form that I enjoy doing sports like padel with my friends and going to the gym. When I was in school I used to take ice-skating classes and I love it. I had to stop it because I hardly twisted my ankle and I couldn’t practice anymore.

I’m studying Food Engineering in the Politecnic University of Madrid. I have been studying English since I was 3 years old. I’ve been in an English academy during high school and I have the B2 certificate. Now I’m studying German because I think it’s important for an engineer to now few languages. I’ve been learning german for almost 3 years and I will continue until I have a good level. As well I would like to have the C1 certificate in English.

I studied at San Agustin school which is located next to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. I’ve studied there from kindergarten to high school. When I left school, I knew I wanted to study something related to food, at first I wanted nutrition but in the end I’m doing food engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

This is my last year studying but then I would like to do a master’s degree related to food quality. When I was little I always wanted to dedicate myself to teaching or supermarket cashier, but now I’m attracted to the world of consulting, focused on engineering.

I studied at Salvador Dalí High School (Leganés) Health sciences bachillerato, I graduated in 2021 and then I started studying Food Engineering at Politecnica University of Madrid, this is my fifth year.

I have never really worked but I used to teach English, math and physics to my cousins.

When I graduated I would like to do a master degree and work in a large company working as an engineer. What I like the most is process control and those activities related to construction and calculation.

I have studied at Camilo Jose Cela High School in Pozuelo.

I don’t have any professional experience about Food Engineering. I used to take care of kids and now I’m searching to teach kids that needs English classes.

When I finish my grade I would to work in a factory learning the processes of the foods. Also just in case that is not possible, another option I think it would be perfect is to start in an auditory company.

Last year we had a talk about some people of AENOR that explained us they work and I liked it. Before that I would like to study the masters degree to be an engineer. I think that it is important for been more qualified.

Then, having the master I would like to work in an engineer company to have big projects. I like been in charge of big projects of engineer.
