      <title>A2 Frankenstein Q3 Padlet by David Paine</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/dkpaine/n4nyc5qd14pe6gnd</link>
<description>Directions may be viewed here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1q0hiXG3nz_BQOWig_Yltk5M-VhnbVmsKgnzs9k3TPv0/edit#slide=id.g1a0e3c3514c_0_76 Step 1) Read your group&#39;s assigned prompt. Press the + button (above the prompt), then leave a comment containing a thesis statement that responds to the prompt. You may leave additional statements, BUT MAKE SURE to plus the + again. (5 mins)
Step 2) As a group, read through the various thesis statements and rate them 1-5 stars; 5 meaning it is specific, defensible, makes an interpretation of the theme of the work overall, AND already contains multiple claims; 3-4 meaning it is defensible (3) and makes a thematic interpretation (4), but does not contain any claims; 1-2 meaning it is nearly defensible (2) or just plot summary (1). (5 mins; 1 min per thesis)
Steps 3-5: Rotate from one prompt to the next and do the following: if the comment averaged 1-2 stars, construct a brand new thesis (remember to click the + at the top); if the comment has 3-4 stars, add an additional claim in the form of a body paragraph topic sentence; if the comment had 4.5 stars or above, comment with a broad opening statement (first sentence of a introduction). If by steps 4-5 there is a new thesis statement, rate it, and respond accordingly (see above). (5 mins each)
Step 6: Rotate to the final prompt, read it, read its replies, and prepare to summarize the thesis statement and its claims. (5 mins)</description>
