His work and projects suggest that he is interested in seeking out stories and following threads, such as the idea of love in 'Niagara', escapism in 'Broken Manual' or following a river in 'Sleeping by the Mississippi'.

The types of stories often to do with religion as there is a woman who wants to get married but her fiancé migrated to Germany and left her. A few more of his pictures often relate to religion again as one of his photos is to do with where Muslims believed that Adam met Eve in Saudi Arabia. Then more of his photographs are pictures kid the 'Zion Church' taking new converts to the sea to be baptised at dawn in South Africa 1999. The reason why he took these photographs is because he wanted to create a project to do with the clash of religions, defined as culture rather than faith, which he believes are replacing political ideologies in strategic struggles.

He presents his work by creating a series of photographs and making the most important pictures bigger than the rest.

The main story that like piece of photography tells is the life and culture of different race together. He tells this story by going to different places and photographing the people together in everyday life.

This particular assignment, "On The Road Again", was shot over 3 decades. Sykes started by flying to New York, and then bought a 6 day bus ticket and travelled to other American destinations, including North Carolina, Florida, Texas, California, Nevada, and back to New York. The photo journal is full of both photographs and diary entries, both explaining his road trip in completely different ways. Some stories within the diary entries include places he went to eat, people he met, and hotels he stayed in. The photographs tell different stories, they show the life of the people living in America during the times he was there, and how little the USA has actually changed within 3 decades. The earliest photograph in the book is from 1969, and the latest from 2001.

He has a background in journalism so he understands what to capture whether it’s a subject, event, person or random moment. This allows him to convey a message in the best way possible. Michal Solarski is a London based photographer who after graduating in Poland came to the UK where he studied at The London College of Communication where he earned a masters in Documentary Photography. He likes to travel between the UK and Eastern Europe. This is how he produces most of his work. His work is mainly based around his personal background and experiences.

he is most passionate about and the one he focuses  all his work in the art of telling a good story. From my background in journalism, he knows how to grab the truest and most honest essence — of a subject, an event, a person, a moment on the street — and convey the message they transmit in the best way possible. From my filmmaking studies, he incorporates a cinematic aesthetic and mood to his work, with the intention to create evocative imagery and stories that come alive in the audience’s minds.

Kirsty’s work ‘wonderland’ began in the summer of 2009 and has now been running for over 5 years. It was created in memory of her mother, who died in 2008 of cancer. The characters that she made where not a reaction of anything that already existed; this was her own personal wonderland. The scenes and images are hybrids, born from the illustrations mixed up with the dreams and the underlying sadness of her grief.

Kirsty suffered from severe depression and found herself retreating to an alternative existence of her camera. This created and unexplained story book without words dedicated to her mother.

His most notable work, the 1958 book title The Americans. This documented everyday life in America during he 1950's.

The main story to his work was a journey around America including cities as Detroit, Houston, LA, New Orleans and many others. The photographs all strata of its society.

Robert has present the project The Americans as a book which has 83 out of 28,000 of his best shots. There was also an exhibition displayed in 2009 at the National Gallery of Art.

"The Americans  changed the nature of photography, what it could say and how it could say it. [ . . . ] it remains perhaps the most influential photography book of the 20th century."

“The Noble Fire of Ancient Slaves” is a project used to show the dramatic conditions of Haitian society, still suffering from the repression of the 1980s. It shows the commune of ‘Cite Soleil’ in Port-au-Prince, which was born as a result of the depopulation of the Haitian countryside.

His photographs tell stories of the band travels and tours. The bands hire him to post pictures of their life on the road.

Adam presents his work by posting his pictures on his personal blog. he also has his own book full of his best pieces of work.

Sion is a visual storyteller who documents everyday life in New York where he lives.

He presents his photographs and projects on his own website, where he writes how he took the photographs and what inspired him to. He has also presented his work in exhibitions from 2009, in Spain, New York, Canada and San Francisco.

The stories that Tim's photographs tell is the everyday life of being in the army and living in the condition they have do deal with, during conflict.

Tim presented his work by books, such as Infidel, Long Story Bit By Bit and many others, He also presented his work by exhibitions in London, Oslo, and Liverpool.

Walker was born in England in 1970, Walker’s interest in photography began at the Condé Nast library in London where he worked on the Cecil Beaton archive for a year before university.

His work consists of taking photographs of people in their bleakest times.

“This picture of a five year-old gypsy boy was taken on New Year’s Eve 2006 in the gypsy community of St. Jacques, Perpignan, Southern France. For Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the men would gather in the Café in their best suits to drink and dance while their wives would prepare dinner at home. It is quite common in St. Jacques for little boys to smoke. Gypsy children are taught astonishingly early to be men or women rather than boys or girls – and men smoke, women don’t.

Sion looks at telling stories from the streets of New York and the peoples experiences. Other than street photography Sion does wedding photography, event photography, portraits, fashion and editorial, entertainment.
