I think the mood changed because the Alutes are back and Karana's fear has become a reality. I think that because Karana had complete freedom and now is going to have to stay in the cave. That reminds me of me because I'm staying home and can't go out. I think it's a good idea to hide because if the Alutes find her they will kill her. The spot the she choose was good because if someone was trying to get in they couldn't. I'm staying at home so I can be protected, but for a different reason which is the Coronavirus. I wonder if Karana is bored in her cave, like I'm feeling bored having to stay inside my house.
