         <description><![CDATA[<div>How are you feeling about this assignment?<br>I am feeling excited about the assignment as it is something new to me. I am eager to work on a topic of my interest throughout this assignment and course. I am feeling slightly nervous and intimidated as this will be my first uni assignment but mostly I am keen to begin as this assignment appears quite interesting and fun so therefore appeals to me. I'm looking forward to using Padlet as it is also new to me but I am already loving to formating!<br><br>Have you done this kind of thing before?&nbsp;<br>As aforementioned I haven't done anything like this before, however I have completed tasks in high school with similar critical and creative thinking methods.<br><br>Do you already have an idea you’d like to develop for this assignment?<br>I have a number of brief ideas about what I would like to develop in this assignment but nothing is set in stone and I am open to any direction my research may take me. I would prefer to chose a message to promote rather than a product or business. I will also make the ad fast paced to build anticipation before cutting to a blank screen at the end of the ad which will display some clear and concise writing reiterating my message. They will be aged approximately 16-24 years old and use social media such as Facebook or Instagram . They may have previous interest in football or be completely new to the sport.&nbsp;<br><br>Reaching my target audience:<br>Using social media as the platform to air this digitally created promotion accurately adheres to the lifestyle of my target audience, as being young women, social media is most likely their main source of media. Creating an advertisement for these platforms increases the likelihood of reaching my target audience. In addition, by creating a fast paced ad the youthful eye will be drawn to the excitement. With mainly young women shown in the video, I am essentially showing my target audience examples of themselves in the video. This will make my target audience feel it is targeted towards them as they are represented in the video.          <description><![CDATA[<div>- How do you think your target audience feels about your product before they’ve seen your video?</div><div>Based on my target audience having a previous interest in sport of varying degrees, I believe they will have a positive outlook on women's football. This advertisement is not airing on radio, TV or other larger platforms, it only going to be aired on the football club's social media. This means the viewer will have come across the ad due to previous interest in the football club or intentional investigation of the club's social media. They may have seen the ad shared by friends associated with the club or have sought the page out themselves. Regardless, this implies their previous interests or association with the club.&nbsp;<br><br>- How do you want them to feel after they’ve seen your video?<br>I want my viewers to feel inspired and persuaded after watching my video. I hope they feel inspired to begin playing football at the Blackwood Football Club and that this video can serve as a pull factor to inspire them to join the program. I also hope that the video has convinced them that the Blackwood environment is right for them and that they feel excited about joining then team!</div><div><br>The tone of the video will be extremely positive as it aims to portray an image of a fun and inclusive environment. I plan to capture the audience's attention with a fast-paced, exciting beginning to my video by asking current players what their favourite part of playing footy is. I will ask the question once in the beginning before cutting to many seperate clips of different players saying their one-word answer. Each frame will have one word said in it before it cuts to the next person saying their answer. This rapid beginning will represent the nature of the exuberant environment of the sporting club. I plan to have majority of the video fast-paced to build anticipation throughout the ad before cutting to a blank screen displaying the club logo, name and contact details at the end. This will evoke happy emotions of exhilaration and eagerness whilst it simultaneously builds and represents the anticipation one may be feeling about joining the program.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Through analysis of current AFL advertisements, I noticed they used predominately large block letter fonts. The writing is typically in capital letters and is printed in one bold colour against a plain background. The main font colours that I found were used were black, white, grey and blue. The main point is made in large print whilst the finer details are in a slightly smaller font size below. This bold lettering has connotations with action-packed events such as sporting games or adventure films. This creates an atmosphere filled with excitement and anticipation. The usage of this bold lettering&nbsp; the for women's sport and advertising similar to men's advertisements creates a subconscious level of equality and also challenges the assumption that women are weaker than men.&nbsp;<br><br>Because of this research and my desire to use strong and bold fonts, I have chosen to use 'Arial' font. Bold and all capital letters will be used for the main title of the advertisement.          <description><![CDATA[<div>This colour pallet was selected as red and green are the colours of Blackwood Football Club. The colours were matched as best as I could but will be more accurately matched when my permission to use their logo is approved.&nbsp; Majority of the football advertisements I watched have had dark tones and bold printed fonts in a single colour that stand out against a plain background. To adhere to this convention, black and white were also included in my colour palette as majority of my on-screen text will be written in white on a black screen. The usage of these bold colours will assist in creating the exciting and action-packed atmosphere.<br><br>Red often represents strong emotions such as passion, love and anger. "It’s the universal color to signify <a href="https://londonimageinstitute.com/flying-out-of-your-comfort-zone/">strength, power, courage</a>, and danger. Red is vibrant, stimulating and exciting" (refernece) I believe this translates excellently to the atmosphere of the football club. Women playing football takes strength, power and courage and the environment is both vibrant and exciting. In addition, playing football can sometimes be dangerous and red can represent this element of exciting risk that may be involved.<br><br>Whilst green is used in the Blackwood logo to represent the trees of Blackwood, green is also "an emotionally positive color, giving us the ability to love and nurture ourselves" (refernce) This coincides with the wellbeing benefits of playing footy that are trying to conveyed in the advertisement.&nbsp; Using green throughout the video will not only re-endorse the Blackwood colours, but may subconsciously provide stability to the advertisement to balance the powerful red colour and remind viewers of the safe environment that the football club is.</div>]]></description>
