Pros:
*If the server breaks down then clients can still work.
*Data can be saved locally.
*Users can use their own removable media at and personalise each workstation.
*Server requirements are less as lass physical storage is required together with associated costs (room temperature control, floor space usage etc.)

Cons:
*More bandwidth is needed, so network traffic is slowed.
*not as good security as thin clients

The pro is that the client doesn't need to be powerful.

There is less complication for correcting the client. 

Lets face it the clients are not always the sharpest in tool in the shed. 

Thin client is a lightweight computer or end-users which is more easily replaced.

Hard drivers is unnecessary for Thin client which can decrease the cost and increase efficiency.
