Joveli is a 17 year old girl who has received high education all her life. one would think she has the basic knowledge supposedly taught to us. However, she recently discovered recently that she is not aware that the Moon is a satellite of the Earth. Since the Moon viewed from the Earth looks as large as the Sun during the day, she assumed that the Moon is "as big as the Sun".

So, based on this situation, we questioned the reliability of our sense perception.

1. Educational Experiences
Claim: Common sense is unreliable when the level of knowledge is insufficient due to lack of education.
Evidence: Joveli doesn't know that the earth has its own moon.
Most uneducated people do not have the common sense to throw trash in the right place, such as people
Strengths:
The claim is a very common issue among countries (culture shock).
Weaknesses:
Boundaries between countries have been blurred due to globalization. This causes common sense to be more reliable as knowledge is generalized around the world.

Counter-Arguments: Most TV shows these days are very educational.
People can attain knowledge without having a certain level of education. Common knowledge has become global due to technology advancements.
Evaluation and implications: Common sense varies from people to people so there's no extent of reliability.

2. Socio-economic position
Claim: People with lower socio-economic position do not have the luxury to obtain higher levels of education. Hence, their lack of common sense is inevitable.
Evidence: Asian countries are the most polluted countries in the world. Such as China, because of their large population, they do not have sufficient means to educate the entire country, as to the common sense of keeping the environment clean.
Strengths: it is a common issue globally, easily addressed.
Weaknesses: There are a lot of cases where the claim does not apply as correct.
Counter-Arguments: There are people with a higher socio-economic position that are provided with proper education but still lack common sense.
Evaluations and Implications: The limits of the lack of education does not apply to everyone in general.

Common sense is indeed influenced by the level of education. This is because without proper education, people rely on sense perception. Through our evaluation, the reason Joveli didn’t know the earth has its own moon is because of the lack of knowledge taught to her, even though she had received an adequate level of education.

Indonesia is also one of the most populated countries, causing lots of people to be uneducated or to lack the level of knowledge that they should've gotten. They rely purely on their sense perception as their source of knowledge. This causes them to act based on their own knowledge, which is not always the one that majority agreed on. Examples are like when they litter everywhere, not having the knowledge that the world is in danger due to their actions. This is why educational experiences affect the reliability of one's knowledge.

A very common examples is the difference between Asian and Western cultures. Asian cultures require people to take off shoes as you get into a house. But, in Western cultures, it is not common sense to take off your shoes. This means that common sense is not reliable, in this context. In the case of the Asians,
