Earth's temperature goes up and down from year to year but throughout the past century it has gone up by a lot.
2.Carbon dioxide warms the planet and we've increase the amount in the air by nearly half
3. More than 9 out of 10 climate scientists agree that our carbon emissions are the main cause of global warming
4. Artic sea ice is shrinking which has causes seas levels to rise up three feet by 2100.
5.Worldwide the number of climate-related disaster has more than tripled since 1980.
6.Animals and plants are already vanishing from parts of their range that are now too hot.
7.

The way in which drought affects the trees is by how hotter air pulls more water from soil and trees during a drought, even as heat stress requires trees to pump more water to leaves. To survive mounting stressors, trees may temporarily shut down some processes.

Giant Panda: Giant pandas have been allowed to persist only at elevations higher than land that can be used for productive agriculture. However, as the agricultural value of land in current panda habitat increases under a changing climate, activities like growing crops and grazing livestock may further encroach on their habitat. Priorities for climate-informed giant panda conservation should include maintaining and increasing suitable, connected habitat, and restoration of habitat with bamboo species or genotypes which are adapted to a warmer climate

Part 1
Mental health is a common result of any climate linked disaster which is the toll on mental health. The distress caused by drastic environmental change is so significant that it has been given its own name called solastalgia. The effects on mental health have been apparent in her studies of emergency room visits arising from wildfires in the U.S.

Part 2
By understanding the origins of COVID it reveals how that other forces may be in play. In the past century the demands upon nature has escalated such as seen today, which we are losing species at a rate unknown since the dinosaurs, along with half of life on earth. We can make many smart investments to prevent another outbreak. Federal, state, and local agencies can support public health leadership and science, we can provide more funding for needed research, early response to outbreaks, and supplies for testing.
