In the first unit we went learned different tools on out chromebook like: taking screenshots, barrel rolls, switching to different tabs using the keyboard and how to open a new window. We also went through the importance of keeping certain information about ourselves private as well as how to pop our filter bubble- meaning how to see things that aren't what we usually see on social media.

This unit taught us how to know if sources were credible to use and trustworthy. We followed the test called the CRAAP test which stands for Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy and Purpose- this test helps us know if a source is credible and they acronym serves as an easy way to remember how to know if a source is credible. This unit taught me the importance of consequences of online hate speech and if its against our freedom of speech, getting clickbaited and avoiding false information.

In unit 4 we went through different topics and created summaries for each topic using a different website/tool each time. We then combined them and created an interactive slide show that shows the summary for each topic. This unit widened my knowledge of different websites I can use to create presentations and it also taught me how to create an interactive slideshow. As well as how to share information while being considerate of others.

This unit demonstrated different ways to solve complex problems. I attached my final project and in that I included some of the complex problems we were given. This unit taught me to look outside of the box and to try and understand things deeper. I also used a part of the previous unit in this because we had a complex problem where someone spilt their lunch and we had to apply an empathetic/sympathetic view to solve that problem. In this unit we also created different surveys to find out ways to solve complex problems.

The final unit taught me how to identify cyberbullies and what to do if I encounter one. I also learned about different tools that can help with different subjects along with how to create a collage and how to import images into canva. Then finally I learned how to create a spreadsheet as well as creating a graph. The spreadsheet would help me in the future when I host an event and need to keep track of the guest list.

Today's tech was very education. Not only did it help me with technology related topics such as keyboard shortcuts, acknowledging reliable sources, creating spreadsheets plus surveys, and web designs but as well as understanding one's emotions, what to do in certain situations and how to help gain understanding of the meaning behind things. In the future I will definitely use things i've learned in Today's Tech such as creating a resume, an invitation spreadsheet, the different websites to make presentations with instead of always using google slides, and many other tools.
