All of these formed a middle class lifestyle that would soon be seen as the ideal life for Americans. The reformed American Dream.

The GI Bill allowed veterans to return to a somewhat normal life after World War II by providing economic support that soon helped create the middle class. Americans were now able to go to college, buy a house, and/or tart a family without any economic issues. Levittowns that were originally built for veterans became more affordable and were soon open to everyone, excluding African Americans. The suburbs/GI Bill provided new standards of living and new opportunities to pursue the American Dream that many adults in America took advantage of.

With the money the would've gone into education not being needed, it can now be used towards purchasing a house in the suburbs. For example in Levittown. A location specifically created to allow veterans to have affordable housing and get themselves back into society. The veterans with support from both Levittown and the GI bill were able to Live what was known as the American Dream. They were able to affordably raise a family, buy a home, have appliances in the home that made life more convenient, and flee the city to a suburb.

Many WW2 veterans were given options and benefits thanks to the bill. They gave the lower class more chances like job counseling and any veterans who were looking for work after the war.

The GI Bill influenced adults who were pursuing the American Dream because it enabled them to receive huge benefits for no cost. They could get nice housing, education and businesses or farms for free, or a large amount of money off. This placed them at a very good spot to start their own family or move to a nicer area. They got to flee crowded situations in the city and live in outer suburbs. Being in the war enabled some men in WWII to move into the middle class as a reward for their service. Not everyone was granted those benefits however, and black people who served in the war were denied the same benefits.
