In my book I have a question. How does the Hubble space telescope see so far? In the book, it said, "If your eye was as sensitive as the Hubble, you could see fireflies in Tokyo from New York and you could distinguish that there are 2 of them. That's a really powerful telescope! What did they to make this telescope? It must have been really powerful because if you can see fireflies like how the Hubble telescope sees stars, that's something special.

This picture shows the hairy man and the kid in the story, Wiley. The components of a traditional story that are in this book are, Magic, when the hairy man used magic to make things disappear. The hero beats the villain, when the family tricked him 3 times. Also this had a moral which was think smarter because he had to think very smart to out think the hairy man because he tricked him 3 times and each time it got harder. Another traditional story component is how he had to trick the guy 3 times, like in all the other fairy tales the use of the number 3 or something they do 3 times is used a lot.

In my book I found a numbers and stats signpost. The numbers were that the hubble telescope orbits 550 kilometers above earths surface and that there are estimated to be at least 100 billion galaxies in the known universe. Also there are tens to hundreds of stars in our universe. These numbers tell the reader how big space is and gives them a reference on how expansive it is. Also another number that I found in my book is that the hubble telescope is as big as 12 buses. This number shows how big the telescope is and, again gives a reference point.

This picture represents the Hubble space telescope. The Hubble is a very well made telescope which can have very high resolution pictures of things so far out into space like Jupiter, Neptune, or even Pluto. But it can take pictures of things other than planets that are in our solar system. It can take pictures of things that are billions of light years away! Like a nebula or a star. The farthest away the telescope can see is 13 billion light years away... So if the telescope takes a picture from 13 billion light years away, you are looking back 13 billion years!
