Ad Hoc topical check-ins: It was really helpful when we had that pop-up lunch check-in about racing on the CDT to learn how folks across the org were approaching that issue, so being open to little, open to everyone pop-ups when a topic seems really timely/ keeps coming up but doesn't fit neatly into other meetings.

Direct connections with Development and fundraising needs

I have heard from Development that sometimes they don't know what the needs are of programs/field staff. Alternatively, sometimes I learn about sources that we are applying for that impact Colorado programs that I don't know about or didn't have input on. Similar with small business members/corporate partners sometimes. Automations in Neon and Monday can be helpful, but context is easier in a meeting sometimes

Agendas and resources handy

The Google Docs Notes document is helpful to keep a running agenda and meeting notes.

This is helpful to park ideas to talk about at any time so I remember them when the meeting comes around.
