The purpose of this show is to entertain, especially fans of the character. The narrative is very linear so it goes from start to finish. The visual style is very colourful, especially considering it's a spin off show of arrow which is much more realistic. The editing style is unique because it tends to cut to wide angle and tracking shots as well as slow motion to show how fast the Flash is moving. The sound is used well because it allows the viewer to tell when their winning or losing. The mise-en-scene is usually very modern places with the Flash running past cars and up buildings. Looking at this clip lots of meeting thought the music because it's the Flash's victory theme but is slightly distorted to show the contrast between Savitar and Flash, lighting is also uses lighting for the same reason because in the show the lighter it is the faster the speedster they also use camera editing to show that a leisurely stroll to Savitar is pretty much light speed. The show is a very apt representation of comic books, because it's like a soap opera which is something most super hero shows don't do. The genre is superhero fiction, action fiction and drama. The purpose of this movie is to entertain, especially fans of the character. The narrative is linear even though it starts with a flash back of the last Marvel movie which would of been Civil War. The visual style is very light much like the comics that it's based on. The editing style is unique because it cuts from tracking shots to wide angle shots and a first person perspective when Spider-Man first disables the training wheels protocol and we see a heads up display. The sound is very good because if it makes the viewer believe that their along for the ride. The mies-en-scene is usually in the city because that's were he lives but they also have scenes in Washington DC and in a more suburban area. Looking at this clip we get to see what it's like to be spiderman such as his strength and web shooters with nothing but the use of sound. They also make the Vulture intimidating with his use of the scream. This film represents the original comic very well because it has spiderman's mask's eyes move to show emption like in the comics. The genre would be action film, science fiction film, adventure film and a fantasy film. He also has a slight healing factor so if he does get damaged it can heal in a couple of minutes. he can control any part of he's body to the cellular level either in or out of metal form. He's incredibly heavy in metal mode about 3 tons so he sinks in water but thankfully he can control his heart beat so he needs less oxygen. It would be very sillier to the CW DC TV shows. 

The pilot episode would begin with a small flash-back with his parents and him about 10 years in the past, this is to show both his life when he was younger but also how smart he is. One night he's house is suddenly his house is set-alight with him the only survivor, but with third degree burns all over his body. Luckily a scientist comes and takes him to his lab in the greatest university in the country, here he puts him in a tube that heals him but also gives him powers as a side-effect it gives him powers we'll get into that later. It's modern day and he's woken up to the sound of his alarm. He's now 21 years old and lives with the scientist that saved his life. It's his first day at university the someone that the scientist works for so they carpool. The next 15 minutes or so is to show how smart and athletic he is. In a chemistry lesson we discover that he has a Pyrophobia (the irrational fear of fire), and because of this fear he passes out. He wakes up an hour later and in the nurses office. He asks who brought him hear and she said that it was one of his class mates. He then leaves, after a few tests, to find the person who took him their to thank her. He found her and was about to say thanks but she left before he could. The professor and him drove home where they saw on the news and it said an earthquake has happened and the university was effected by it. The Professor tells him he needs to save the people in there he agrees. He then proceeds to transform himself and cloths into the indestructible metal indestrucium and morphing the metal he was in his costume. He then proceeds to save everyone and reenforced the structure with is powers making it significantly stronger and about 2 tons heavier. The next day 'Metal Man' is all everyone talks about. We get an internal monolog about how he likes the admiration but the name could use some work. We then get a transition to a silhouette of the main antagonist of the first season learning about him and saying that 'It looks like the Philosopher might be able to have some fun', as we get a glimpse of his power.


The purpose of this show is to entertain. The visual style would primarily be used to show the difference between the rest of the world and the metal form with how pristine and and clean he is. The editing style would be a very traditional style with the only exception being the first transformation sequence. The sound would also be very basic with the exception being when he's in his metal form because when he moves or use his powers he would make a bending sound because of the metal of his body being bent, as well as cracking when he steps because of him being about 3.5tons. The mies-en-scene of the reveal of the Philosopher would be in a room with a combination of futuristic and medieval to create an insight in to his mind and how he views things, and the way we see his power in use is by making a cup of tea out of a brick and drunk it using his clothes to bring it up to his mouth with his Jacket. The genre would be Science Fiction and Action. It also works with weapons so if he touched a blade or a gun it would be cut and shoot someone. It also works with people he can't gain their memories or intelligence but he can get their strength, speed, endurance and fighting style. Whatever he touches stays with him permanently. He also has to eat as many calories as it would to fuel whatever it is he has touched.

The pilot episode would begin with a man going to work which she hates. When he got their. he gets hit by a car and put into a persistent vegetated state (usually confused with a coma). He then wakes up in a world of white where he meets a man. when he asks who he is he tells him that he is "The world, the Universe, God but I prefer Truth". He then sends touches his chest and a light and heat goes through him, and tells him that his will help for whats ahead. Truth then sends him through a door behind him. He wakes up inside hospital about six months later with his sister next to him. He then goes through different tests to make sure that he's ok. After that his sister offers to drive him home he gets a headache and touches the car for support. He said that he would walk but as he did he got slowly faster and faster when suddenly he's moving at 60miles an hour. He eventually he stoped at his house incredibly sacred. He called his sister to tell her to get to his house. She said that she would. She was shock to see that he was already there. He then proceeded to tell her about what happened on his way home and about the world of truth. They began to test his power by touching a blade, gun and other things. They quickly find out that he now needs to eat a lot of food. They then proceed to talk about what he could do with this power of his. They decide to use his powers for good, and after a funny costume picking scene they hear about a bank robbery and he goes to stop it. He gets there to stop the robbery and was captured on video doing it. He then goes home eat a lot of food and goes to bed on to rest. We pan up to see Truth looking down at him saying "Good look in discovering the truth".

The purpose of my show would be to entertain. The visual style would not be very be used to show his life both before and after the meeting with Truth. The editing style would be very traditional with the exceptions be used to show off his powers. I'll be used sound to signify what kind of powers he's using for example I'll use the sound of a car to show when he's using his super speed and the sound of a gun or blade to show when he's using his attacks. The mies-en-scene of the Truth would be an endless white space with nothing but one man,The Truth, and a giant black door with engravings of every important moment in the visitors life. The genres would be Science Fiction and Action. The logline: A man directed with life gets into a car accident and is transported to another dimension and gets powers from the sole inhabitant and becomes a superhero.

The story: Edward, (25) and of German desent, an American Harvard dropout of German descent that works in 711 and hates everything to do with life. After doing a 15 hour sift he gets hit by a car and gets put in to a coma. He wakes up in a world of pure white with the only exceptions being a gigantic metallic grey door and another man that appears to by around the same age as Edward.

The being introduces him self as Truth, (ageless) and has an obsession in finding someone to say the right answer and the right question, and because of this he is pretty vague about thing. This is shown when he touches Edwards chest and when he asks what he did Truth said "Thats a good question, but sadly not the right one, Bye!" Truth then sends Edward through the door behind him.

Edward wakes up in in a hospital about six months later with is twin sister Elizabeth, asleep in a chair next to his bed. She wakes up and sees Edward and hugs him. A doctor comes in and tells him that he's lucky to be alive with minima ingeries. The doctor asks him if he remembers anything and Edward tells him about Truth. After that and multiple physical and mental tests, which he passed with ease.

After Edward is aloud out of the hospital Elizabeth offers him a ride in her car, which he excepts the offer. When he touches the car he began to feel light headed and holds his head in his hand. After this he says that he might walk it instead so he can get some fresh air. As he walks his way home he began to go faster and faster until he's moving to sixty miles an hour. Luckily he stops just outside his house and steps inside scared. He decided to call his sister to get to his house.

When she arrives she's shocked to find that he was home. He then explains what happened and how scared he is about it. Elizabeth then tells him to calm down and think through it logically. After some heavy breathing he remembers how he felt after he touched Elizabeths car and his phone. He realised that it might be connected to it. After touching a knife and was able to cut through wood with his barehands. They also figure out that the more he mimics the more he has to eat to fuel himself.

They then decided to have him become a superhero and after a comedic naming and suiting up scene, they decided on the name "Nachahmen", German of mimic to connect to their German ancestry, and a black trench coat, red gloves (to stop him from mimicking everything by accident), a navy blue shirt, black pants, black shoes and a bandana to cover his face.

They decide to test out these powers on a back robbery about 10 miles away. He wasn't able to stop the robbery it's self but he was able to stop the robbers from getting away. After a fight scene he left behind a note to tell the police what happened and who did it.

He got home and used his powers to call his sister to tell her what he did and how it went. After their conversation was over he went to sleep. As he goes to sleep the camera pans out and we see Truth with a smile on his face. He said "Good luck on your endeavours Edward".
