Do you prefer rain or sun? I had noticed that the majority of the children said rain. After observing the children for while, I asked if I could join in in their conversation about rain. I asked what they liked about the rain and they were saying that they love to jump in muddy puddles and stick their tongue out to taste the rain. I then asked the children 'What is rain?' and 'Where does rain come from?' They came up with various answers. e.g 'rain is a kind of water that drops everywhere' 'rain comes from a big cloud' .
