<title>It is so important to be politically proactive instead of reactive. This is because we are prepared for situations that may arise when we are proactive. We have already thought and planned through a process of how to react when a situation arises that can be of conflict. When we are reactive we do not reflect on the process and are unprepared. This can cause confusion and also not the best outcome. I have attached some pictures that depict this. </title>

<title>We can ensure that politics or personal ideology does not influence the decisions we make in ensuring that all students receive optimal education. This can be simply done by following our curriculum and having fidelity to the programs that are in place. Sometimes teachers can water down the content thinking that their students are not capable of it. This can hinder their academic development and it is done through the ideology of someone. This decision can be detrimental to their language acquisition and can have a negative outcome in emergent bilinguals. I have attached some images that depict this situation. </title>

<title>Continuing with the politics and personal ideology and how they should not influence us in order to provide the optimal education for students. This image depicts the example talked about before. Chopping off words of the curriculum and making them more at level with students. Is this right? Modifying the curriculum to what some might think is best is not something that should be done. This can only harm the students because the curriculum should be updated constantly and be of the best benefit to all student populations being served. There should be no need for this situation to occur. </title>

<title>Some of the biggest challenges that are shown are the lack of resources in some areas of the United States for immigrant students. This is a big challenge that many districts phase. This can be changed by taking into consideration the population in an area and modifying the curriculum so that it is up-to-date and relevant to the current population. I have attached some websites that could help support families. </title>

<title>One of the strategies that could address the language or content issue of many students who grapple with English by providing more resources that can enforce this second language acquisition in students. It is so important now with the use of technology for students to have access to resources that can be of benefit to their linguistic development in a second language. I have attached a pdf that shows some ideas on how to help emergent bilinguals. </title>
