BEING BRAVE

Dad looked under my bed fearlessly,

When he searched for my monster called Billy.

Dad and I build all the time,

We even like to play with slime.

Dad got sick but kept fighting,

I held his hand and saw him smiling.

“Dad, one day I want to be brave like you.”

Son, you can overcome your fears,

You wiped away all my tears.

You always learn something new,

You are already Brave!

That is so very True!
