Cosmos 波斯菊

The Secret Flower Sea in Guandu blooms! The Guandu Secret Flower Sea has a variety of flowers, including cosmos, yellow cosmos, large larkspur, and sunflowers, which are like the colors of earth paintings. With the beautiful Guanyin Mountain, Datun Mountain, it is so beautiful that people will be mesmerized! Yellow cosmos is sometimes confused with the yellow-flowering variety of cosmos, but they are different species. Yellow cosmos have smaller petals and are predominantly orange-yellow, with blooms ranging from pale yellow to golden yellow and orange. The bright colors evoke a sense of intense passion, and the flower is often considered a symbol of untamed beauty. Please take the minibus No.21 at Gillian MRT station and get off at Baxian Pumping Station, or rent a YouBike at Gillian MRT station and ride along the bike path along the Keelung River to Baxian Pumping Station.

Fisherman's Wharf 漁人碼頭

Entering the Fisherman's Wharf, you can see the famous "Lover's Bridge" from afar. The 165-meter-long, streamlined, single-side tilted bridge spans across the harbor area in the shape of a white sail, connecting the wooden pallet and the tourist fishing market. In the evening, a large crowd of people can be seen waiting here to catch the beautiful scenery of the setting sun sinking into the sea. When night comes, the white bridge surface becomes even more colorful under the illumination of the lights, which is also one of the must-see night scenes in Tamsui.
