My name is Carolina Gelvis Duran and I come from Pailitas, Cesar. I am currently a 19-year-old psychology student looking to gain work experience in healthcare, so I am actively searching for a job to complement my studies. Being single and without children, I have the flexibility to focus on my academic and professional goals. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family by watching movies or series and listening to music. This is a great way for us to unwind and relax together.

I currently reside in the Zulima neighborhood of Cúcuta, along with my mother and two younger brothers. Our apartment is situated on the second floor of a building in a very tranquil area. Despite having easy access to two main roads, the neighborhood is peaceful, and there is no traffic noise. Libertadores Avenue is just a few blocks away from our apartment, and in the opposite direction, there is Guaimaral Avenue. Across the street from our building is an elementary school branch of the INEM College. In the vicinity, there are plenty of restaurants and the Unicentro shopping center. Additionally, if there are any medical emergencies, I can quickly reach the Erasmo Meoz University Hospital or the Medical Duarte Clinic by car. The main avenues also have several small food businesses, veterinary clinics, drugstores, and beauty salons, among other establishments. One of the things I like about this neighborhood is that many of my neighbors own pets, especially cats. Some of them also have dogs, and they take them for walks in the nearby park or dirt court.

I usually wake up early in the morning, around 5 o'clock, to start my daily routine. However, on weekends, I like to take advantage of not having to prepare breakfast for my younger sister and sleep in a little later. For breakfast, I usually have different options, such as arepa with cheese and coffee with milk, scrambled eggs with bread, or a ham and cheese sandwich. I usually have breakfast at 7 o'clock, after preparing breakfast and lunch and taking a shower. My lunchtime varies depending on how long it takes me to get home after work. Usually, I have lunch between 12:30 and 1 o'clock in the afternoon. For lunch, I usually eat rice, chicken with vegetables (including onions, peppers, and carrots), and boiled ripe plantains with cheese. After finishing my workday, I come back home, and usually arrive between 6:30 pm and 7 o'clock in the evening. After changing into more comfortable clothes, I like to relax and watch videos on my phone or a TV series. Then, I help prepare dinner, which I usually have around 7:30 pm. Sometimes I like to have wheat tortillas filled with tuna, onion, and tomato for dinner.  Finally, I go to bed between 10 o'clock and 11 o'clock at night. On weekends, I like to take advantage of my free time and rest a bit more, watch series, cook something different, and review my academic commitments. I enjoy watching streaming TV series with subtitles and try to read research articles in English to learn new vocabulary, although I don't practice regularly.

Reflexión final:   Durante mi proceso de aprendizaje del Inglés, he utilizado el E-Book como una herramienta guía para adquirir conocimientos básicos sobre vocabulario y estructuras fundamentales de las oraciones. Me ha sido de gran utilidad para ampliar mi capacidad de comunicación y poder expresarme de manera más clara y efectiva. En particular, he aprendido a expresar oraciones sencillas sobre mi rutina diaria y a utilizar conectores para darle sentido al párrafo. Esto es un paso importante en mi camino hacia el dominio del idioma, ya que me permite comunicarme de manera más efectiva con hablantes nativos y ampliar mi capacidad de comprensión en el ámbito profesional. En definitiva, considero que lo que he aprendido en esta tarea es de gran importancia para mi vida personal y profesional, ya que me permite acceder a más información y recursos en mi área de estudio.
