The climate crisis demands an urgent action. In my school - Agrupamento de Escolas de Vilela/ Portugal -we normally try to fit into programmes that help us triggering environmental problems. For example we participate in specific Erasmus +KA229 projects, and other programmes like Eno programme, Eco schools etc. Nevertheless, we still think the current school education system is unfit for these times. Additionally, we need innovative learning experiences to feed and adapt to the needs of the emerging future. I am pretty confident to learn a lot with this course and make climate crises learning accessible to all my students.

I think our economics courses in Belgium need to be reconsidered, since the focus of those courses primarily lies on the lineair economic growth model, even though we know that this model is not suited to address the climate change, the most important issue of our lives.
