The spaces should:
  1. Allow for talking (and perhaps other comforts like allowing food and drink or even providing a nearby resource to purchase or warm food, etc.)
  2. Facilitate internet access
  3. Provide electrical outlets and appropriate lighting
  4. Protection from the elements (rain, etc.)
  5. Be often open 
  6. Have available seating often–or potential to reserve seating
  7. Be near open restrooms.

Once you identify those collaborative spaces you need to:
  1. Take a group photo there (if possible)
  2. Describe how that space is useful for collaborative writing
  3. Describe any pros and cons about the space

Con: Might get a little busy during the year. The pro’s of the writing center is that it’s isolated and at the highest floor which means you don’t hear as much noise compared to the other floors. the library is a good place for group collaboration because there are study rooms available for use. These study rooms are equipped with tables, outlets, a tv, and make it acceptable to be loud in the library

-ITE room

Cons-
- limited space
-limited hours

 this is a great place to collaborate as a group because there are many resources available and enough seating for groups. In addition there is a computer room available if needed.

Peet’s coffee:
Pros-

-group environment

Cons-
-limited hours
-can become crowded

Peets coffee is a great place for a group meet up. You arent expected to be silent so it’s perfect for discussions. In addition, a good snack or drink is always good to boost your eneergy.

Every individual who’s a student or professor has access to these spaces. In the library you’re able to take food, there are outlets and protects you from the elements. Some pros about the library is the fact that you can rent out a room either for yourself or for a group. As well they have the internet connection needed for research and physical books. The cons would be since it’s a common space area making reservations for those rooms could be difficult.
