BTS' is short for "Bangtan Sonyeondan", which translates to bulletproof boy scouts, and according to group leader RM, it symbolizes that the band is trying to leave behind all the stereotypes and criticisms thrown at them, as if they were bullets. This vision is aimed at a new generation of teenagers, with more freedom and a message of self-love.

There is no doubt that it is one of the bands that has revolutionized the world of music. Around the world they have won the hearts of millions of fans, for their positive messages, their incredible quality videos and their shows.

The BTS band is made up of seven members: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook.

Although the band is from K-pop, the success behind BTS is characterized by mixing various genres such as R&B, dance and especially hip-hop. It is precisely this great mix of rhythms that has positioned them at the top of the charts and in the hearts of their entire audience: it is new music that has completely renewed K-pop.

Before, to meet an artist you had to listen to him on the radio or premiere a video on television. Also, we must jut out their performances. BTS members have slick dance routines and extremely impressive music videos, working at them for 12 to 15 hours a day to get each choreography right. 
Another relevant point is that nowadays people have the internet; therefore, fans all over the world could be able to know them. A BTS member, Yoongi, also said, "I think we're so lucky to be born at the right time. Without social media, we wouldn't have been so successful."
And as the last idea, we have their fans, known as ARMY. They have 60.4M followers on Instagram, 37.6M on their official Twitter, and 44.3M on the band's Twitter.
