When she grew up she became an important lawyer and politician.

In 1931 she was chosen as a deputy in the Radical Party

She struggled until she achieved the rights of voting for women.

During the civil war she had to exile to Buenos Aires, Argentina. She lived there for 10 years and she became a writer. She tried to come back to Spain but she couldn't, so she travelled to Switzerland; there, she worked as a lawyer until she got blind.

She died on April 30th of 1972 in Lausana, Switzerland.
