He stresses that we need to work in harmony to stop destroying nature and come together to help save the environment. Three persuasive strategies the author uses are
  1.  Anaphora- When he repeats the word “We” in the start of each sentence in paragraphs 3 and 6.  
  2.  Amplification- when he uses words like “beautiful” when describing the trees and forest in paragraph 6 as well.
  3. Euphemism- In paragraph 11 when the author says “ We flee into “cyberspace” —
spending more time on smartphones, iPods and video games than communing with the real
World.” The author could have said that we rather be selfish and lazy but he chose to 
make a name for these actions by saying we go into “cyberspace.”
