Some students speak little to no English, which really makes things difficult and frustrating for me and them. I have several students throughout the year that come directly from another country and only know familiar greetings in English. I do have a translator in one of my classes that is heavier with ELL students, but the translator only speaks Spanish. I have a few students' whose first language is Tigrinya, which is a difficult language to find good supports and translations.
