I believe this street art shows culture diversity because it depicts Hades, who is a Greek God, and in the similar style of the Disney one from Hercules, which can show the culture that Disney animation has had an affect on children growing up in the era that Disney animation movies like Hercules were made. This is important towards Greek culture and the Greek community in Melbourne because it allows Greek people to express their heritage and roots while also allowing others to see and understand Greek culture as well, therefore benefiting everyone. This also asserts their presence in a foreign country, which can make people who are foreiners to Australia feel seen and represented because they know that culture CAN be shown in forein countries, and that they are welcome here in Australia.

I believe this street art shows a diverse society and culture because as you can see in the artwork it shows a child wearing a shirt that says "peacemakers" which could indicate they're a part of a group of people who want change, maybe protesters who want peaceful resistance against something, and due to the fact that the child is also wearing a mask that could also indicate that it's somewhere where a child may feel the need to hide their face, perhaps from violent people in the area that the child lives in. Perhaps an area in war, in which this art could represent a call for peace amid violence. And how the artist probably wants to bring light to the unfortunate situation in other countries by taking to the streets and showing citizens of Melbourne to take action by protesting to help send others the message that there are children in dangerous zones, and they need help, people with the ability to make change should make a change. Is what I believe this artist is trying to say through this artwork. This links to diverse culture because it brings light to people from other countries that are struggling, as well as the general protest culture in Melbourne.

I believe this artwork in Melbourne shows diverse culture and multiculturalism by blending native wildlife with the Melbourne's recognisable street art. It shows two magpies, which can symbolise the city’s connection to its natural environment mixed with the bright floral background it shows Melbourne’s reputation for diversity, and design, it helps create work like this by being shaped by the city’s multicultural population. In aboriginal dreamtime stories, the magpie is often known for creating the first sunrise and/or playing a key role in shaping the world, which can help connect this piece of art with Aboriginal culture shown in Melbourne. This is important to the Aboriginal Australian community because it helps to make them feel seen and know that their culture is respected and seen, including in the big city of Melbourne.
