•Know: An activity that helped my knowledge and understanding was doing my pre-production work for the promotional video on the fashion department. This helped my knowledge by giving me the opportunity to practise some good camera shots, and helped me out with making recces and production schedules. Another opportunity I got was Dave's workshop as it let me edit for the first time ever

•Do: A new skill that I applied to my work is what I learnt from Dave's workshop as I had never edited before, and I ended up editing a short horror film and it was a good opportunity to do that. A obstacle that I hit during this was me always asking for help because I didn't know how to edit and I kept needing help. Also another obstacle was the producer not doing his job properly and inconveniencing others in the group.

•Improve: I would improve my editing skills as they are very basic and I need to learn much more about editing. I would also improve my mentality to work properly as I didn't try my hardest this week.

Show:

Know: The activity that helped me the most this week would definitely be Daves's workshop again, considering I had never edited a video before in my life and he gave me a small insight on how to do it. This week I didn't manage to film, however I managed to arrange a date that we could record because we are using the fashion department rather than media.

•Do: A new skill that I got from working this week was figuring out how to edit, because I had no idea of how to do it before hand. The obstacle that we ran into this week would be not being able to record because the fashion department was not ready just yet. We worked well as a group besides two people being absent throughout near the whole entire week.We did some B roll footage yesterday as well.

Show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF8dWhHPyKM&feature=youtu.be
This is a video that I edited in Dave's workshop.

•Improve: I would improve upon my editing skills, because there's still so much I have left to learn about editing a video as this is the first time I done it. I wish we planned the fashion shoot in advance as we found out on Thursday that the fashion department isn't available to record in until next Wednesday. I also want to improve upon my groups communication as two members weren't in a lot this week. We chose not to use the B roll footage that we done yesterday due to it looking terrible when looking back.

Know: An activity that helped my knowledge and understanding was when we were tasked with finding out what microphone is which, and writing a use for them, while also discussing what Mono and Stereo are, and what diegetic and what non diegetic is. I never knew any of this before.

•Do: A new skill that I applied to my work would be when I was making a power point on Diegetic and non Diegetic sound, and I had to get examples and annotate things from movies to find out whether its Diegetic, or non Diegetic. I completed my work by learning about the microphones. I didn't run into any barriers. i am proud of all my work as I completed it to an amazing standard and finished it all very quickly.

•Show: How did you present your work outcomes? You must Include photos, print screen or video for evidence.

•Improve: There's not much i'd improve upon considering I finished all given work, and finished it to a good standard which was said by Cliff. I would have maybe improved upon deciding faster with my group for what department we are going to showcase.

Know: Dave's workshop with working with lights was very useful, because I had never worked with lights before and now i realise why they are so important for making an effective video. I now know what three point lighting is, which is made up of a key light, fill light, and black light.

•Do: A new skill that I applied would be my new knowledge of lighting, and I applied that to my interview by setting it up so the light is right on my face. A barrier that I hit was working with my group cohesively, a reason for this is because we didn't all agree on the methods used for the interview, and for the questions themselves, however I eventually convinced them to take my advice and to use my ideas.

•Show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5VuBm3vrT0&feature=youtu.be

•Improve: If I had to improve anything from this task it would be listening to instructions more clearly. Also working with my group didn't go as planned as what I thought it would, so next time i'll just settle for whatever someone else wants to do so it causes less conflict and we can get the work done faster.

I also made a review of some audio recording apps and listed them from worst to best.

•Do: A new skill that I acquired to complete the task was probably trying out and testing the apps that we had to review, it's almost like to me personally that this task is just us reviewing things. The only obstacle I hit during the tasks was the beginning when I didn't listen to instructions properly and I kept getting mixed up. I eventually completed everything to a good standard.

•Show: All my work is on showbiz task 1, 2, and 3.

•Improve: I would improve on my listening skills because I didn't listen a ton throughout the activities, although I finished everything on time and to a good standard, I could have done it much quicker if I listened
