This video clip “ earth song” by Michael Jackson, was released in 1995, and talks about environment theme as is shown in the images of animal cruelty, deforestation, pollution, poaching, poverty and war. 

the star M. Jakson had produced many socially conscious material : we are the world / man in the mirror / heal the world.

On the one hand, The sculpture appears larger and more enormous than the sculpture by Yuichi Ikehata (the 1st art of work). On the other hand, the sculpture "Eros Bendato" by Igor Mitoraj is older than that of Yuichi Ikehata. The first was modeled in 2013 while the second was in 2017. 
Both sculptures have almost the same tensions and the same message is that people are protesting for more freedom of expression, freedom of belief, and the fear and anguish seen by these people during their demonstration against a popular heritage that makes them frustrated. So many of them have sacrified their life to offer freedom to the future generation. 
From what I have read on the two sculptures that the two artists wanted to transmit the pains of the peoples and the nations which still suffer because of the dictator political and socio-political systems. I think many sculptures had the common theme: expressing the passions, tensions, emotions and misfortunes of people around the world.

Notre Dame de Paris, It is a well-known story that holds by itself and does not need to be explained. This is the reason why there have been a dozen films based on this novel by Victor Hugo.
It is the story of Quasimodo, the hunchbacked bellringer of Notre-Dame and his tragic love for Esméralda, the beautiful gypsy. It is a love story condemned by injustice and hypocrisy.
Quasimodo falls in love with Esmeralda, who sings and dances on the spot in front of the cathedral. But Esmeralda loves Phoebus, the handsome captain of the King's horsemen. But, Phoebus is engaged to Fleur-de-Lys, a young and rich bourgeois.
To this complex emotional canvas is added the desire of the priest Frollo for Esmeralda who made Quasimodo his slave and keeps him in the cathedral.
Esmeralda is charged with the attempted murder and thrown in jail. Frollo takes advantage of Esmeralda's condition and offers her freedom in exchange for sexual favors. She refuses and, mad with rage, prepares her revenge.
Quasimodo frees Esmeralda and hides her in his kingdom. But Clopin, the leader of the refugees, accompanied by all his troop, misunderstand Quasimodo's intentions and attack the cathedral to save the gypsy dancer. In the chaos, Phoebus and his soldiers intervene to quell the riot and Clopin is killed.
Thinking that the captain is coming to save Esmeralda, Quasimodo allows Frollo to deliver the one he loves to Phoebus. But in fact, Phoebus wants to see Esmeralda hanged. In his rage, Quasimodo throws Frollo from the top of the belfry and comes out to save Esmeralda again. It's too late. Overwhelmed with grief, the hunchback takes Esmeralda to the mass grave, where he dies by his side.
The events take place in the 15th century. The story has touched the popular and world consciousness deeply.

]]> 2021-03-07 14:59:18 UTC https://padlet.com/eiletunisie2020/n3268t72r4pagmte/wish/1278712317 4th art of work: A short scene from the movie " Titanic " eiletunisie2020 https://padlet.com/eiletunisie2020/n3268t72r4pagmte/wish/1356417655 This scene, which had been deleted from the movie, shows the emotions, the tensions and the sensations seen by the faces, the eyes and the looks of people to each others ( between the rich and the aristocrat passengers and  the popular and toiling ones) after such a horrific accident. Moreover, I always wondered what happened to Rose's mom who appeared in this scene. Rose's mother at the end is really sad and painful. By the start of the movie, she was arrogant and looking very superior than the others, but at that point there was none of that. There was only one heartbroken woman trying, against all hope, to find her daughter.

In other way, The grip of the two little girls with their mother just broke me. They seem scared but unable to say that they have the right to live and to save themselves too, Not just the rich and the aristocrats !! I think these two girls represent the popular social class crushed in the countries and nations of the World.
